Danger Mouse - The Complete Seasons 3 & 4 Review

talk back in the eighties not much Eary Nickelodeon "Toons of them, so bought the rights to programs like" Lost City of Gold, "" Inspector Gadget ", ect .... Show and of course there was" Danger Mouse "Well, this is Season 3 and 4 of the series, but note, this series was so British, from American Television, it would be Season 2 ... British season to be split almost in half by us .... So mid-season is a season for his new .... However, this solid doorDanger Mouse cartoons, the only position for five cheeky humor and style Monty Phython other British humor idiot with one simple film satire funny Bond-style ... If you can not find this style quite amusing when you spy films of the '60s and Monty Python's humor .... The animation is old love, but he still has pretty decent with colors and what not .... Aye why this show was a backdrop of much use, except for Goofy picture in picture as in Monty Python ... But, Animationbefore it was ever going in the background is either current or Nick Toon and Cartoon Networks Adult Swim order or time of day ... In a sense, the backgrounds are even more interesting full nuttieness they did, strangley in tune with the show, unlike the garbage going on Adult noted that this style is broken, but fails horribly .. Swimming However the only reason this DVD gets a 4 because it is just like the originals There's always a fun thing, shake on the set of timeTime or the whole episode ... IE that the cell-cell fire seems to be drunk and you move the camera shot every few seconds left or right and when the display can sometimes be very nausicating .... For a bonus karoke version of the title track and some character profiles .... theres a bonus rather lame .... is not even able to interview some nutty British inker or what ..... Regardless of the problems have been fixed (this should really blood camera shake), is stillworth picking up or down memory lane to see the first Count Duckula, which appears in an episode to take on this series .... He is a bit 'different is the way it acts, and it is amazing, not to study land which has Howard the Duck, and Warner Brothers, duck daffey this version a bit' too much like two of these crosses or even be sued, you can view the layout of the Earl Dukula that the air had a couple of years later .... and Brition Nickalodeon

Danger Mouse - The Complete Seasons 3 & 4 Specifications

More mind-boggling mysteries are foisted upon the famous odd couple of espionage, Danger Mouse and his bumbling assistant, Penfold. Seasons 3 & 4 (fall 1982 through spring 1983) continue to exploit the razor-sharp wit of Britain's Cosgrove/Hall Production cartoon of the world's smallest superhero. The two-disc set contains 14 episodes shown in their UK format as five four-minute installments (each with its own opening and closing titles/credits). Here, we find Danger Mouse--"that modern day knight in shining white Terylene"--pitted against such nefarious characters as Baron Greenback, Count Duckula, and the Demon from the 4th Dimension. Perilous adventures include "The Invasion of Colonel K" when DM faces strange denizens after Greenback shrinks himself and enters K's body to learn his secrets. Adding to the anarchy, two stories contain cameo appearances by Agent 57 and Professor Squakencluck. DM twice goes stateside, in "Tower of Terror" when he gets trapped in a New York skyscraper; and "The Trip to America" where a Texan helps him retrieve the world's most famous buildings that vanished in a single zap. The under-8 crowd will relish DM's crime-fighting gadgetry and eccentric escapades while older viewers are sure to savor the parodies--those renowned tongue-in-cheek nods to Dr. Who, Monty Python, and Sherlock Holmes. Bonus material is underwhelming, including character biographies and a Karaoke version of the theme song. (All ages) --Lynn Gibson

Quirky, one of a kind fun stuff - Jeffrey J. Lyons - Pembroke, NH United States
Danger Mouse is an animated series incredibly unique. As an adult I like the droll British humor and drop-in of other favorite shows like Doctor Who. In fact, if you look at history, "Danger Mouse Saves the new world" of this box set, we shall see, the brain-sucking machine is really a Dalek head.

Some might think this animation was fairly cheap. I think it was. But there are many Japanese anime to use the same style - limited movementand occasionally included real background in live entertainment.

Series 3 and 4 may be better, some American viewers know, since this was aired on Nickelodeon during the mid-1980 The show was taken off the air on Nickelodeon went not long after, though Cosgrove Hall continues to produce in the early 90s.

Disadvantages, these episodes will be shown as they broadcast in Britain than five minutes cliffhangers and must sit onMusic / credits over and over and over again. This is also why I went with four stars. This, and the extras are a bit 'weak. I would like an interview with Mark Hall and Brian Cosgrove reflection on these stories special to see.

I enjoyed Danger Mouse and his clumsy assistant Penfold twenty years ago. Now I love again with my Middle Schooler.
