Hetty Wainthropp Investigates - The Complete Second Season Review

Patricia Routledge is in this light mystery series about a friendly ex-wife that he decided to tackle crime. Think Miss Marple, but more often, more practical and married. Derek Benfield and Dominic Monaghan (also in his first role, long before "Lost"), Routledge backup "Hetty Wainthropp research" is a fun and unusual series for fans of mystery.
The second season of this series chugs along nicely, with Hetty investigations of a new cycleRiddles are a spiritualist that can scammng people, an old lady Poison Pen Letters suspicious, and some work undercover in a shelter for women. And Geoffrey is running into a problem when his love affair with a suspect threatens to derail his daughter in his place at the Agency.
For After the success of the first season of "Hetty Wainthropp suspect, the makers fortunately not swelled his head. Instead, they put what worked: good chemistry between the main characters, stories,(Usually) not to focus on murder and heroin entering not only because of their age to retire. This is a very funny series - just do not take it seriously fatal.
Unlike your average detective show, the stories are light and sweet, and metered-dose and probably higher than the average of humor, Such as poor Geoffrey cried When he hung up on a drop, "Please no, I can not Bounce, "and 'a high level of agreement, I think sometimes hard to dothat the mysteries are solved.
The second season has the same slow, comfortable atmosphere. But you can quickly turn dark. However, the small, personal level of Mysteries is a nice change from the national intrigue and massive raids that ordinary people are very realistic problems seems very plausible, and Hetty, like a good detective to take them.
Routledge (best described as the annoying Hyacinth Bucket) is a good performance as Hetty knows that he canbe an iron fist for a minute and treasure Sleuth grandmother later. Dominic Monaghan is an even stronger performance as the teenage sidekick Geoffrey, an antidote to the WB designed dolls, and is guaranteed by Derek Benfield as a nice man Hetty Robert.
Perfect for curling up on a rainy day, under a blanket with a cup of something warm. The second season of "Hetty Wainthropp suspect" makes for its mysterious lack of skills by so charming groundedand welcoming.

Gotta love Hetty..... - Dianne Foster - USA
Hetty WAINTHROP - Series 2 features the talents of Patricia Routledge plays a woman the title of "The BBC is highly unlikely Sleuth." But it is these episodes again, I realized Hetty fills a gap or niche for the investigators, what is not so unlikely. The types of cases studied (mostly domestic) was dismissed by Holmes, and emerged as a challenge worthy Poirot, Miss Marple, but rather from the photo, someone's gotta do it. On almost every occasion, the DCI,If required, said Hetty, the police can not do the victims or potential victims, were committed for a crime. In fact, in many cases of unpleasant experiences that are not necessarily criminals ... YET.
Who to contact if someone in your name smeared with poison pen letters? Miss Marple handled a case with poison pen letters and other investigators as Barnaby have solved similar problems, but in general, the letter is a blackmail letter and the person involvedbecomes a murder victim. The letter (s) pressed normally on a typewriter with a fun. (Software can also be attributed, as we discovered during the election campaign last year). Hetty does not handle murder cases. Or does it? How did the girl dead end to stay in a shelter when her husband found her? And he revealed their location? How can Hetty. under the name Woman of the Year, presented at the dinner in her honor, and bruising can be explained by their curvesnot so loving husband Robert?
If the client is the victim of a "rose by another name," the father of a teenage escape, or daughter of a woman through a means, not Hetty Jeffrey and his henchmen, to quote the magic man said Robert and brother-in-law Frank, solves the case.
These secrets are not complex, they are comfortable. I love and I wish all Hetty PBS would air episodes of the BBC.
